I have designed these training plans to prepare you for the
specific demands of mountain bike racing. Mountain bikers need a
huge array of skills to be the best at their sport: smooth
pedaling skills, top bike handling skills, speed off the start
line and endurance to ride fast to the finish, a high level of
core strength and leg power for the hills and the mechanical
knowledge required to keep the bike running during a race.
Choose the training plan for the class you will be racing this
season. When you upgrade you can progress onto the next level of
plan. Race durations vary for each class and each training plan
is designed with that in mind.
